Samuel & Charlotte NEALL, along with daughter Harriet emigrated from England on the "Hydaspes" and arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia in November 1851. Another 7 children were born in South Australia from 1853 to 1869.

Samuel NEALL and family moved from Mount Gambier, S-E South Australia over the border to Sandford on the Wannon river in S-W Victoria in 1870.

In 1875 Samuel NEALL paid £20 in rates on property at Carapook, near Sandford.

Samuel NEALL lived near Sandford after 1870 until he leased 222 acres of land at Lake Mundi, west of Casterton.

Samuel NEALL died after a horse accident in the Casterton area and was buried in the Sandford Cemetery in 1886.
