Peter LOUGHRANb. ca 1831, Ireland, son of Michael LOUGHRAN & Ann KELLY was married in 1855 in Ireland to Mary CUSH, b. ca 1834, daughter of Michael CUSH and Sarah COSTELLA. Mary CUSH was a sister if Isabella CUSH who was married to Christoph LUERS and living at Carapook.

It appears from the births of some children that they arrived in Portland, Australia in 1856 on the "General Hewett" and lived at Mount Gambier, Carapook & Dunkeld before moving north to Lalbert & Wycheproof.
