Thomas Escrick SEYMOUR b. 1860 near Robe, South Australia, son of Algenon SEYMOUR and Mary Ann KENNEDY, married in 1880, ___, Victoria to Catherine ANDERSON b. 1862 Branxholme, Victoria, daughter of Thomas ANDERSON and Jessie Ann BLAMYRE.

The family appears to have lived in Casterton for many years and one of their sons, John 'Jack' Loch SEYMOUR who served in WW1 with the 3rd Light Horse Field Ambulance, 1st AIF and obtained a Soldier Settlement block on the Glenorchy Estate near Merino, Victoria.

Another son, James Alen SEMOUR served with the 7th Battalion, 1st AIF at Gallipoli.

Another son, Norman 'Norm' Edward SEMOUR served with the 3rd Light Horse Field Ambulance, 1st AIF.
